Clare Smith trained in 2003 gaining her Diploma in Applied Aesthetics and CIDESCO (Switzerland) which is widely recognized as the premier international qualification. She decided to formalize her credentials after performing massage therapy on a casual basis for a number of years.

During the six years since qualifying Clare has worked in clinics in Christchurch and owned her own clinic while living in Tauranga. Over this time she has developed a reputation for her expertise with Brazilian waxes and eyebrow shaping. She says "A beautifully shaped and groomed brow not only frames the eyes, which are the most important aspect of our face when meeting and talking to people, but also opens the face up giving a brighter more lively appearance."

Skincare and facials are another area that Clare specializes in, she finds great personal satisfaction in being able to apply her skills and knowledge to assess and treat the skin. Currently Janssen Skincare is used during facials which are a botanicals based cosmeceutical and soon Clare will be introducing the JW Organics range (Ecocert Approved) also. This divine range of cosmetics new to the New Zealand market has been developed by Judith White, Holistic Aroma therapist using wholly organic products to transform your skin with the purest ingredients.

Clare's main aim when you come to see her at The Stables is to provide you with a full range of skin and body services in a beautiful, restful environment where you can relax, talk and let her indulge your senses.
